Greece Rally 2023 Day 6: Riders Triumph in Marathon Return Stage from Albania to Athens
Greece Rally 2023 entered its sixth day with a spectacular marathon return stage that took riders on an unforgettable journey from Albania back to Ioannina, Greece. The day commenced with a special stage in Albania, starting from Permet, before concluding with another special stage in Ioannina. Riders were treated to breathtaking landscapes and traversed charming towns like Cosine, Frasher, Banjat e Benjes, Frasher, Permet, Zaravina, Lykostani, Vasiliko, and many more, covering a total distance of 235 kilometers.
Day 6 of Greece Rally 2023 was a testament to the tenacity and skill of the riders who had already conquered numerous challenges in the rally’s earlier stages. The day began with a special stage in Albania, originating from the picturesque town of Permet. Participants faced challenging terrain that tested their skills and determination while surrounded by Albania’s natural beauty.
The fastest time of the day for the two stages was achieved by #244 Tomas MILLET (KTM EXV 350F) with a time of 2:28’50”, closely followed by #1 Roberto BARBIERI (HUSQVARNA FE501) with a time of 2:29’11”. The third-place finisher for the stage was #30 Sandro CALESINI (KTM EXC 450) with a time of 2:33’15”.
