Greece Rally 2026 began with a compact but demanding prologue in and around Serres. Despite its short distance, the opening stage tested riders with tricky navigation through Agios Giorgios, Rachovista and Eleonas, demanding focus and precision from the very first kilometres.
#142 Stefan Svitko (SK) was the first rider to finish the prologue. #227 Benjamin Harvey-Grounds (UK) followed in second, while #11 Dennis Schans (NL) completed the stage as the third-fastest rider.
Following the prologue, the ceremonial start took place in the city centre of Serres. Spectators gathered to see the riders and their machines up close, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere as teams and competitors were welcomed to the rally.
With the first navigation challenge completed and the official ceremony behind us, Greece Rally 2026 is now fully underway.
Day 2 of Greece Rally 2026 took riders across 304 km of mountain landscapes in Lailias, Agistro and Menikio. The route passed through the Lailias Forest in the Vrondous range, around 25 km from Serres, known for its high-altitude beech and pine woodland and steep mountain terrain.
The stage continued towards Agistro, a village in northern Serres at the foot of Mount Agistro, surrounded by rich vegetation, streams and mountain roads. The area is also known for its historic thermal baths and Byzantine hammam.
Varied terrain, difficult abandoned roads and demanding navigation made this one of the most characteristic days of Greece Rally, testing the riders’ endurance and accuracy throughout the stage.
#142 Stefan Svitko (SLV), riding a Ducati 450, finished first. #227 Benjamin Harvey-Grounds (UK), riding a KOVE 450 RALLY, followed in second place, while #35 Pavelka Stanislav (CZ), riding a KTM EXC 500, completed the stage in third.
In the SSV class, #85 Kees Box and Kees Box Jr, driving a CAN-AM MAVERICK R, finished first.
After a challenging day in the mountains, the rally continues as riders prepare for the marathon stage.
Day 3 marked the beginning of the Greece Rally 2026 marathon stage, taking riders to the Chaidu Forest Village, where they camped overnight in the heart of the forest.
The day proved especially demanding, with riders tackling challenging terrain and straightforward navigation before reaching the remote camp. At the end of the stage, the motorcycles were placed in parc fermé, meaning riders were not allowed to change tyres or receive outside assistance. This added another layer of difficulty, as competitors had to preserve their tyres while preparing for the next day of the marathon stage.

In the SSV class, #83 Rene van Eerd and Joyce van Eerd, driving a CAN-AM MAVERICK X3, were the first to finish the stage.
With no tyre changes permitted overnight, riders now face the second half of the marathon stage under even more demanding conditions.
Day 4 brought riders back from the marathon stage, descending from the Rhodope Mountains through Mount Lekani. The route then continued toward the coast, reaching the sand dunes of Kavala before finishing with a second, short stage on Mount Symvolo.
The transition from remote mountain terrain to the sandy coastal landscape demanded adaptability, while the final stage on Mount Symvolo provided one last challenge after a long day on the route.

In the SSV class, #84 Wil Wouters and Niels van Limpt, driving a POLARIS RZR ULTIMATE, were the first to finish the stage.
With the marathon stage now complete, the riders return from the mountains and coast ready for the next challenge of Greece Rally 2026.
Day 5 of the Greece Rally 2026 was short but demanding, with an enduro route through the Bosdakas Crossing. Riders followed a ridge from south to north before returning along a circular route, reaching an altitude of 2,130 metres. Success depended not only on enduro skills but also on navigation: competitors had to rely on their compass, odometer, and instincts as they crossed the open plateau along the ridge of Mount Menikio.
#227 Benjamin Harvey-Grounds (UK), riding a KOVE 450 RALLY, was the first to finish, ending #142 Stefan Svitko’s (SK) winning streak. Riding a Ducati 450, Svitko finished second, missing out on his first stage win of the rally. #214 Robert Parry (UK), on a KTM EXC 450, completed the stage in third place.
In the SSV category, #83 Rene van Eerd and Joyce van Eerd, driving a CAN-AM MAVERICK X3, finished first.
Day 6 brought new terrain and scenery as the rally headed south toward Thessaloniki. The route passed the lakes of Koroneia and Volvi, continued through the village of Nymfopetra, and then made its way toward the Sochos and Vertiskos mountains. From lakeside landscapes to lush, green forest tracks, the day offered competitors a varied route and a fresh challenge.
#142 Stefan Svitko (SK), riding a Ducati 450, claimed the day’s overall win. Close behind, #227 Benjamin Harvey-Grounds (UK), on a KOVE 450 RALLY, finished second and also won the second special stage. #22 Kreidl Ferdinand (AT), riding a KTM EXC 450, secured third place.
In the SSV category, #84 Wil Wouters and Niels Van Limpt finished first in a POLARIS RZR ULTIMATE.

The final day of the Greece Rally brought competitors to the finish after a short and relatively easy ride. The last special stage crossed Mount Vertiskos before continuing toward the Krousia Mountains, with views of Lake Kerkini along the way.
The first to finish the stage was #11 Dennis Schans (NL), riding a HUSQVARNA FE 350. #227 Benjamin Harvey-Grounds (UK), on a KOVE 450 RALLY, finished second, followed by #216 Vladimír Oboňa (SK), riding a KTM 450 RR, in third.
In the SSV category, #85 Kees Box and Kees Bos Jr. were the first to finish the stage in a CAN-AM MAVERICK R.
In the overall standings, #227 Benjamin Harvey-Grounds (UK) claimed victory at the Greece Rally 2026. #22 Kreidl Ferdinand (AT) finished second, and #214 Robert Parry (UK) took third place.
After the final stage, riders and crews gathered for the prize-giving ceremony to celebrate the week’s achievements and the efforts of everyone who completed the rally. The celebrations continued into the evening with a party, bringing the Greece Rally 2026 to a memorable close.
